plot :
In the realm of Murafia, many lands and civilizations, though different, share a fundamental mythology centered on the goddess Iya and her 3 sons, Obi, Phobi, and Shobi. Throughout the land, many religions and cults based on these characters exist, with Ijia being one of the most obscure yet best known through legend. Ijia is a rare practice created by a group of monks in the remote forest of Fungia. The secret order of the "shobi temple” teaches an ancient martial art that combines telekinetic abilities with physical prowess. The sacred practice focuses on the deity Shobi, the first son of Iya, who appears in the mythology as a man with a lion's head. The cult is a sacred order that requires students to pass mental and physical tests to move up in the ranks. In the Ijia lore, the main character, Kai Nunju, is a student of the arts who begins his journey with a final test to become a jia master, one of the highest ranks of the Shobi temple in Fungia. The story begins with Kai in the middle of a quest called the journey of Jo, an initiation in which the devotee must reach the peaks of Mount Kamanu and claim a sacred flower that grows at its highest point.
